Gwen's House
The next morning, Gwen is tending to her roses when Heather arrives and says that there was nothing going on between her and Jack the night before. Gwen admits appearances can be deceptive for example, fake flowers.

"But who would settle for a cheap plastic rose, when they could have a real American Beauty?"

Gwen hands Heather one of her red roses and cuts the head off.

Inside, Ethan calls Faith but she refuses to answer and he leaves a message on her answering machine.

Williams Global Enterprises
A guilty Scott wants to leave the company and privately confesses to Heather that he thinks Tina used him for information by going to his apartment. Heathr tells him to suck up to Tina so they can give Olympic Aerospace false information.

Gwen's House
Jennie tells Ethan that Faith called and said she couldn't make their date. He goes up to his room and spies her bedroom window with his telescope. He is shocked to see her passionately kissing another boy.

Williams Mansion
As Samantha is about to leave, Peter buts another log on the fire and gets down on one knee where he suddenly proposes to her. She accepts excitedly and heads up to his bedroom. Peter goes to Jack's study to shut a window and Maureen appears from the shadows. He threatens her but she wants $50 000 to keep quiet about his scheme to woo Samantha. If he doesn't pay, she will go to the tabloids and spill the beans about the Williams family.

"You are in way over your head, my dear."
"And you are the one who is going to get buried...my dear." Maureen retorts.

Upstairs, Heather is having the same nightmare again and Chandler wakes up up. She is clambering on the bedroom door and screaming. He tries to soothe her and puts his arms around her.
