The bartender is on the phone telling somebody that he bumped into Heather Lewis this morning. He puts the phone down when Chandler arrives and apologizes for earlier, saying he must have been mistaken about Maureen.

"Cut the crap. I want to know who you are and what your business is with Heather Williams."

The bartender says he just confused Heather with somebody else back in Pittsburgh. Chandler grabs him and warns that if he is lying, Chandler will be back.

The next morning, Peter and Samantha are walking through the vineyards and return to where Mr Sanchez is sitting. Samantha goes inside and Peter sits down.

"I was hoping we could start over."
"Men like you disgust me."
"Not exactly the kind of start I had in mind."

Mr Sanchez tells Peter how he was married to his wife for 51 years and wouldn't let Peter marry Samantha unless he knew that Peter loved her that much. Mr Sanchez says marriage in the Williams family is temporary and the men collect wives like trophies but discard them when they lose their luster. Men like Peter don't respect marriage and find the easy way out with words like 'irreconcilable differences' and 'incompatability'. The word he doesn't know is 'integrity'.

Peter says he wants the chance to love Samantha for a lifetime but Mr Sanchez refuses as she returns.

Chandler finds Heather and tells her he talked to the bartender in the restaurant. She doesn't want to talk about it and Chandler accuses her of hiding something.

"Alright. My name used to be Heather Lewis. I became Heather Lane to get away from a bad childhood. I was born in Pittsburgh and I lived right down from the smoke stacks. You know, I spent my whole childhood breathing in soot and wearing it on my clothes. I watched my stepdad come home every night, get drunk and beat my mom until both her bones and her spirit were broken. I ran away to get a better life, so I travelled and I took classes so I could better myself. Then I met Richard and the better life arrived."

She says her bad dreams haven't been about a car accident. It was her childhood haunting her. Chandler needs to know this is the truth because their relationship can't take anothr lie. Heather assures him it is.

Laurie shows Powerline's manager Sky around the club and David wants to know why they agree to play in a small venue. Sky reveals it's because they want to get back to their roots. His phone rings and as he walks away, David and Jennie try to persuade Laurie she made the wrong choice. As Sky leaves, Jennie follows him and lies that there are plans to upload the band's performance onto the internet.

"For a profit? No way. I can't let Powerline be exploited like this."
"Don't say I didn't warn you."

Sky wants to know why she would betray her family and she says because her sister is out of control.

Ethan visits Jack in his office and asks for advice about girls. Faith blew him off for an older guy with his own car. Jack says the only word that might help him is 'communication'.

"Communication? You're not going all Oprah on me are you?"

Jack says no but a longtime ago, Jack lost a woman in his life because he didn't communicate with her. Ethan agrees to go for it and guesses that the woman Jack was talking about was Gwen.
